A know-it-all beeping cricket ball found inside an old leather sports bag leads two young cricketers on an international Da Vinci code-like mystery around the world. They’re on the hunt to find missing cricket artefacts they need to save their beloved local cricket club from demolition.

Meet the Characters

Snick

Snick is a 12-year-old Indian boy with a passion for cricket. He is the captain and a star wicketkeeper, blessed with lightning-fast reflexes. Snick’s life changes when he meets Willow, who shares his passion for cricket. 

He learns from Willow that he doesn’t need to keep his guard up and helps him become more of a team player

Willow

Willow is a 11-year-old Australian girl who recently moved to India with her father. With a talent for fast bowling, she is very confident and outgoing, When Willow meets Snick, she finds a friend. 

Her impulsive decisions are tempered by Snick’s relaxed disposition, encouraging her to think things through a little more. Together they make a formidable partnership on and off the field.

P.E.R.C.I

PERCI looks like any old red six stitcher cricket ball until it starts beeping, defying gravity and transforming into an all-knowing cricket fact droid ready to help our heroes on their global treasure hunt. 

It has a fascination with understanding human emotions and when to employ them.

Batin and Balu

Batin and Balu are the privileged and self-entitled nephews of Madam Sunita. 

These troublemaking twins, make it their sole mission to undermine the valiant efforts of Snick and Willow in saving their beloved cricket ground.

Sir Malik

Sir Malik is a wealthy businessman with a reputation for being a shrewd operator, raring to tear down the kids’ cricket club to build high-rise commercial buildings. 

However, behind his bluster is a secret passion for cricket leaving him conflicted.

Madam Chair Sunita

Sunita is a formidable figure, both in business and in appearance.

She is known for her ruthless negotiating skills and has little regard for the history and cultural significance of the club she plans to destroy.

Coach Evans (Johnno)

Willow’s father and coach of the team. He moved to India for a fresh start. He’s here to make a real go of it but can’t believe all this Malik drama now popping up.

Not one to complain, he has a wry sense of humour and loves passing on priceless cricket advice.

Ajun

The groundskeeper of the Avenshan cricket club and Snick’s father. He is considered one of the most experienced groundskeepers in the country. 

A humble man, with a secret he must keep from everyone to protect the game he loves, the club and, above of all, his son.
